Thursdays at Newhall will host the latest “ArtSLAM and JAM session” on Main Street in Old Town Newhall Thursday starting at 6 p.m. It’s a family-friendly evening of art, dance and music. On Friday night the Valencia Jazz & Blues summer series presents Kelly’s Lot. The full-tilt boogie blues-rockers have cut 11 albums and toured the world over the past two decades. Showtime for Kelly’s Lot is 7 p.m. on the street outside the Hyatt Regency off McBean Parkway, and admission is free.
