Santa Clarita voters will get the chance to meet and hear the 15 qualified candidates vying for three City Council seats in the Nov. 6 election during a candidate forum and Q&A session at The Oaks Club Valencia on Wednesday, Sept. 19.
The Santa Clarita Division of the Southland Regional Association of Realtors and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce will be the forum co-hosts.
Registration and breakfast are set for 8 a.m., with the forum and Q&A following from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The $25 admission fee includes breakfast.
RSVPs are requested by Monday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. Email scvevents@srar.com.
The Oaks Club Valencia is located at 26550 Heritage View Lane, Valencia 91381.
Registered voters in the city of Santa Clarita will have the opportunity to elect three councilmembers for a term of four years each.
The seats are currently held by Mayor Laurene Weste, Mayor Pro Tem Marsha McLean and Councilman Bill Miranda. All have filed for re-election.
