Santa Clarita Valley Certified Public Accountant firm Stern, Kory, Sreden & Morgan recently bolstered its team, adding veteran accountants Douglas Ridnor and Lori Goodwin as shareholders.

Combined, Ridnor and Goodwin bring nearly 50 years of experience to the table. Ridnor has been with SKSM since late 2001, and Goodwin joined the firm in 2004.

“We’re thrilled to have Doug and Lori become shareholders,” shareholder Trevor Rice said. “They have such a dedication to excellence and great customer service, and their leadership as fellow shareholders will be invaluable for the future of the firm.”

Ridnor and Goodwin bring the group of shareholders to six, including Rice, Ronald Morgan, Gregory Kory and Robert Stern. Shareholder Lloyd Sreden, who had been with the firm since the early 1980s, passed away in late June.

Ridnor has more than 30 years of business expertise providing accounting, tax and advisory services to a variety of industries. He is also committed to community service and an active member of Kiwanis International, having served in capacities including Distinguished Lt. Governor and President. Prior to joining SKSM, Goodwin spent nearly a decade as a financial analyst with a Fortune 500 company.

Both new shareholders are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
