Two would-be burglary suspects were in for a surprise when they kicked in a door Tuesday morning on Sandy Drive, off of Jake’s Way.
The would-be victim was home.
The two suspects ran away.
One suspect, identified as Anthony Hall, 19, was captured soon after deputies arrived. The call was received around 10 a.m., said SCV Sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin Blake.
The intended victim, who said he had observed the two suspects from his doorway, identified Hall in a field lineup.
The other suspect was still at large as of 1:30 p.m. He is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, weighing about 140 pounds.

For those of us that are home during the day…this seems to be a “fall trend” here. As soon as school starts at COC, the door-kick robberies start. Be safe. Be aware. Report strange activity when you see it, not after someone has been victimized.
