Supervisors Ridley-Thomas and Barger authorize the Community Development Commission to accept the allocation of up to $15,000,000 in available funding to enhance veteran peer access network. (1-D, Item 3, Report)

Supervisor Kuehl authorizes the Community Development Commission to execute, amend or terminate a memorandum of understanding for the development of a universal funding application. (2-D)

Authorization sought for allocation of funds for various projects not to exceed $593,000 in Excess Funds available to the Fifth Supervisorial District pursuant to the Safe Neighborhood Parks Proposition of 1996. (1-P)

Supervisor Ridley-Thomas directs the Chief Executive Officer and other departments to engage a consultant with relevant content expertise to review and assess next steps on body-worn cameras. (Item 2, Report)

Supervisor Solis directs the Chief Executive Officer to send a five-signature letter to Alex M. Azar II, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, opposing a gag order on health services for women. (Item 12)

Authorization sought to execute an agreement with Oracle America for the implementation of the Assessor Modernization Project Phase III, at a maximum amount of $34,253,662. (Item 17)

Approval sought for a new Board Policy, Fair Chance Employment that will require County contractors and subcontractors to certify compliance with fair chance employment hiring standards. (Item 18)

Authorization sought by Children and Family Services and Probation to execute an education advocacy, liaison and intervention services contract with a maximum contract amount of $5,038,500. (Item 19)

Authorization sought to execute an amendment to extend the contracts for each of the 15 current Transitional Housing Program – Plus contracts. (Item 20)

Authorization sought to extend the Domestic Violence Shelter-Based Program contracts with various agencies, with an annual maximum amount of the extension estimated at $1,946,476. (Item 22)

Authorization sought to execute a job readiness and career planning and vocational assessment services contract with the L.A. County Office of Education for a maximum contract amount of $85,793,696. (Item 23)

Authorization sought to execute a contract with the L.A. County Personal Assistance Services Council for the provisions related to In-Home Supportive Services provider wage at a maximum contract amount of $8,252,582. (Item 24)

Authorization sought to execute a Medical School Affiliation Agreement with Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science for resident physician training programs. (Item 25)

Authorization sought to execute contract amendments for the provision of HIV/AIDS Case Management, Home-Based services at a total maximum obligation of $4,938,936. (Item 32)

Authorization sought by Public Health to execute 18 contract amendments for the continued provision of children’s health outreach, enrollment, utilization and retention services, for a total maximum obligation of $4,380,896. (Item 33)

Authorize Public Works to execute consultant services agreements for engineering design and support services for Road/Flood Control Construction Programs for various projects for a combined total of $15,000,000. (Item 36)

Establish and approve the Franklin D. Roosevelt Park Stormwater Capture Project Construction Contract with a total project budget of $13,500,000. (Item 37)

Authorize funding for the continuation of the Hollywood Bowl Park-and-Ride and Shuttle Program to provide transportation service at an estimated total amount of $5,210,000 for 2018 and 2019 seasons. (Item 38)

Adopt and/or rescind various traffic regulation orders to support traffic safety, enhance traffic flow, facilitate street sweeping and provide adequate parking for disabled persons in various unincorporated communities. (Item 42)

Award and authorize a consultant services agreement with Citadel CPM for construction project management and support services for the Santa Anita Dam Spillway Modification Project for an amount not to exceed $1,200,000. (Item 44)

The Claims Board recommends a $11,750,000 settlement for a lawsuit alleging injuries received in an automobile accident involving a Sheriff’s Deputy. (Item 51)

The Claims Board recommends a $690,000 settlement for a wrongful death lawsuit alleging that Anthony Morejon died while in the custody of the Sheriff’s Department and while receiving care provided by Sheriff’s Department medical providers and the Department of Mental Health. (Item 54)
