The SCV Senior Center is thrilled to share that our first matching gift program was a tremendous success and we have reached our match. The great news is that we have an additional donor that has stepped forward and offered the same Matching Gift Challenge.

For every dollar given by an individual to the New Senior Center Capital Campaign starting January 25, 2019 – they will “Match It” on a dollar for dollar basis up to $50,000. A chance to double the amount raised with every gift.

This challenge gift comes at a wonderful time as we come closer to completing the construction of the New SCV Senior Center by March 2019. Time is essential in acquiring the remaining funds.

Because of the incredible support from Los Angeles County, the city of Santa Clarita and the community, we have raised a significant portion our goal through contribution requests and fund-raising activities thus far.

The Center needs to raise $500,000 in additional donations to complete the Center. This “Matching Gift” opportunity will help us come closer to that goal.

All donations at the $500 or above will be have a place on the Donor Wall at the New Center.

We ask you to join us in this effort to continue to be of service to our community by providing this much needed New Senior Center that will not only benefit the seniors of today, but the seniors of tomorrow and years to come.
