VICTOR VALLEY — College of the Canyons made the long trip to Victor Valley College and returned home with the first road victory in women’s tennis program history, a 9-0 conference win.
Canyons won all four of its singles matches and both doubles matches. Victor Valley forfeited a total of two singles and one doubles match to help COC claim the decisive 9-0 victory — just the second in program history.
Canyons (2-6) continued its inaugural season by hosting Glendale College Feb. 27.
