
Valencia: Crime Report for the Week of June 6, 2016
The following crimes were reported last week:
06/06/16
Petty Theft- 23859 Arroyo Park Drive
An unknown person entered the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse and wallet from inside her unlocked car while it was parked in her car port.
Grand Theft Auto- 23720 Creekside Road
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle, a 2012 black Ford Explorer.
Petty Theft-24632 St Denis Court
An unknown suspect stole 5 Nerf guns from the sidewalk of the victim’s home.
06/08/16
Assault with a deadly weapon- 23621 Creekside Road
A male suspect was arrested for reckless driving and for trying to run the victim off the road with his vehicle. The suspect was driving a fully loaded semi-truck weighing over 80,000 pounds.
06/09/16
Petty Theft-26415 Bouquet Canyon Road
While parked at the location, the victim did not lock his vehicle An unknown suspect made entry into his truck and stole his cell phone and his iPod.
Grand Theft-26450 McBean Parkway
A female suspect was arrested from the location for trying to exit the store without paying for clothing items in her possession.
Grand Theft Auto- 23920 Creekside Drive
The victim had his 2013 Ford Fusion stolen from the location. The vehicle was located the next day in the city of Compton.
06/12/16
Grand Theft Auto-28100 Smyth Drive
The victim had his 2011 Cadillac SRX Stolen from the location.
A Reminder about Fireworks
Please remember all fireworks in the City of Santa Clarita are illegal and you can be subject to fines and /or arrest for lighting off your own fireworks. Please make arrangements to attend a professional fireworks show of your choice. And, remember the fire danger in our city is very high and we need to make sure we all do our part to prevent fires in our area. We encourage everyone to have a great 4th of July, safe and without incidents.
