Valencia Crime Report: Week of November 7, 2016 thru November 13, 2016
The following crimes were reported in Valencia during the week of November 7, 2016 thru November 13, 2016:

11/08/16 Tuesday
Petty Theft-25800 block of McBean Parkway
A male and female suspect walked into the location and stole several items from inside the location. The suspects then exited the store and made no attempt to pay for the items.

Grand Theft-25500 block of Old Course Way
An unknown suspect stole property from the victim’s driveway. The victim left the items on the driveway unattended.

Stolen Vehicle- Sand Wedge Ln./ Masters Cup Way
The victim had his 2014 Nissan Altima, silver in color stolen from the location.

Grand Theft- 27900 block of Kelly Johnson Parkway
Two male suspects entered the location and tried to load cash onto cash cards. The suspects were met with minimal resistance and finally given the cash cards. Both suspects told the cashier the exact same story.

Petty Theft-26400 block of Bouquet Canyon Road
An unknown male and a female suspect entered the location and placed two tool combo kits in a cart. The suspects then pushed the cart out an exit and placed the items in a waiting vehicle. The suspects then fled the area prior to the deputies arrival.

11/09/16 Wednesday
Petty Theft- 25300 block of Magic Mountain Parkway
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s Bose headphones.

Burglary (Business) -25300 block of Magic Mountain Parkway
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s business and stole a 60 in. TV from inside a breakroom.

Petty Theft- 26400 block of Rockwell Canyon Road
While the victim was at the location, she stepped away for a quick moment. When she returned, her cell phone was gone from her desk.

11/10/16 Thursday
Petty Theft- 28300 block of Constellation Road
While at the location, the victim had her cell phone stolen while she was playing volleyball.

Burglary (Vehicle, Locked)- 27200 block of Tourney Road
An unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and stole cable boxes and remote controls. The victim stated her window was unable to be rolled up all the way. Entry was probably gained through the half opened window.

11/11/16 Friday
Burglary (Attached garage)- 23300 block of Via Barra
An unknown suspect entered the victim’s garage and stole a Cannondale bicycle, black and white in color.

Assault with a deadly weapon (Feet) -23400 block of Valencia Blvd. Two suspects were arrested from the location for fighting and kicking the security guard in the head. A female suspect was also arrested from the location for interfering with a police investigation.

Stolen Vehicle- 24400 block of Valencia Boulevard
The victim had his 2000 Dodge Pickup truck stolen from the location.

11/12/16 Saturday
Burglary (Residence)- 24700 block of Salceda Road
Two suspects entered the victim’s residence and fell sleep inside. Both suspects filled their backpacks with the owner’s property. The victim and her daughter walked into the location while the suspects were still inside. The victim called the police while the suspects were still inside the home and the suspects were detained shortly after, after trying to flee the location.

Vehicle Security- You can prevent vehicle theft!
Most cars are taken by amateurs who can be stopped fairly easily. You can increase your protection against this type of crime by taking the following sensible precautions:

Lock up
• An unlocked car is an open invitation to a car thief. Lock up when you leave your car,and take the keys with you.
• Lock the trunk or tailgate.
• Close all windows — professional thieves have tools that unlock cars through the smallest openings.
• Be sure vent or wind-wing windows are shut tight.
• When you park the car, remove cellular phones, cassette players and other valuable possessions. Do not leave gift-wrapped packages or cameras lying on the seat. Lock all valuables in your trunk or take them with you.
• Lock your car even if you are making a quick stop at the gas station, convenience store or mini-mall.
