Adopt a Family
We had an overwhelming amount of community participation with many families stepping up to help our families in need. We had 48 donors this year! We were able to get all our families adopted! We are extremely grateful for the community support!

Six Red Dresses
#TheSixRedDresses Project  made stops around the Santa Clarita Valley for 16 days of activism. The six red dresses represent six women who have lost their lives in the Santa Clarita Valley due to domestic violence. This was a very powerful display and we would like to thank the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley for organizing this project. #ZontaSaysNo to domestic violence in the Santa Clarita Valley. You can visit our Facebook page to see pictures of#TheSixRedDressesdisplayed throughout the SCV. To find out more about the project, click here.

Our Shed is finally built!
We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to our donors and to HandsOn Santa Clarita for building our shed! Now we have more space to store clothes and other items for the women and children that come to our shelter seeking safety.

Build-A-Bathroom
Our build-a-bathroom project is on it’s way! We have meetings booked with contractors! It’s happening next year! HOORAY!! We still need donations to help us finish reaching our goal, but we are almost there! Please consider making a donation today to help us build a second bathroom for our Shelter! The women and children who come to our shelter thank you in advance for your generosity and support! You can make donations on our #GivingTuesday page.

Donations

We’ve had so many kind donors this month we wanted to say THANK YOU to them! Wells Fargo Bank made a $4,000 donation to us this month! Part of this money will be used to sponsor our “I’m Worth It” event we are hosting for our clients this month. It will be an evening of personal relaxation for our clients to celebrate everyone’s worth! We also received $2,500 from The Maximus Foundation. These donations along with our donors from our #GivingTuesday donation page, are helping us reach our goal to build our bathroom!
