Learn what it takes to become a part of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
This is a free seminar open to those interested in becoming a firefighter (age 17 and up). The event will take place tomorrow, Wed. Feb. 21, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at College of the Canyons, Dianne G. Van Hook University Center Room 107, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, 91355.

– Learn about the duties and detailed responsibilities for the firefighter position.
– Network with other candidates.
– Learn what to expect in the Fire Academy.
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.
Seminar begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and concludes by 12:00 p.m.
Late arrivals after 10:00 a.m. will be placed on standby and admitted based on available seating.
Parking is available for $3 at the kiosk.
Registration and a confirmation ticket are mandatory to attend the seminar. You must bring your confirmation ticket to the seminar or you will not be admitted. We recommend that you bring a pen and paper to take notes.
