A variety of band, choir and drama productions are slated for the 2013-2014 school year. Students, parents and community members are encouraged to support local performing arts programing while enjoying great local entertainment. Event dates, times, ticket prices and venues are detailed below:

Dec. 2- Rancho Pico Junior High School Winter Concert
Student bands and orchestra will perform for family, friends and the community in the Rancho Pico multi-purpose room at 7 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door – $5 for adults and $3 for students. For more information contact Peggi Stoffel at pstoffel@hartdistrict.org .

Dec. 4- Canyon High Winter Band Concert
Canyon High concert band, marching band, jazz ensemble, alumni and parents will be performing at 7 pm in the Canyon High gym. The concert is free to attend, however, a $2 donation is appreciated. For more information contact Melissa Palmer at mpalmer@hartdistrict.org .

Dec. 5- Rancho Pico Junior High School Choir Concert
Rancho Pico choir students will be performing in the Rancho Pico multi-purpose room at 7 pm. Tickets are $5. For more information contact Molly Peters at mpeters@hartdistrict.org .

Dec. 5- Placerita Junior High School Annual Winter Concert I
All Placerita Jr. High bands will be performing in the Hart High School auditorium at 7 pm. Admission is free. For more information contact Kathryn Spula at kspula@hartdistrict.org .

Dec. 5, 6 and 7- West Ranch High School Theatre
West Ranch theatre students present Robin Hood and the Merry Men and Women of Sherwood Forest by Christopher Cook, West Ranch theatre advisor. Shows begin at 7 pm nightly in the West Ranch High School Theater. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. For more information contact Christopher Cook at clcook@hartdistrict.org .

Dec. 10- Arroyo Seco Junior High Winter Holiday Band Concert
Arroyo Seco bands, along with choir and band teacher, Kandis Taylor, will be performing in the Arroyo Seco multi-purpose room at 7 pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $3. For more information contact Kandis Taylor at ktaylor@hartdistrict.org .

Dec. 10- Rio Norte Junior High School Winter Choir Concert

Dec. 11- Golden Valley High School Winter Choir Concert

Dec. 11- Rio Norte Junior High School Winter Concert

Dec. 12- West Ranch High School Orchestra & Choir Winter Holiday Concert

Dec. 12- Urban Renewal Project performing live at Sierra Vista Junior High

Dec. 13- West Ranch High School Winter Jazz Concert
This concert will feature brand new compositions and arrangements written for the West Ranch jazz program by students and local composers. Dec. 14-GO Jazz Band – Golden Oak Adult School
Golden Oak Jazz Band will be performing “Jazz in the Afternoon” in the West Ranch Performing Arts Center at 3 pm. GO Jazz is comprised of 18-20 adult professional-level musicians. Feb 21, 22 and 23- Hart High School presents Legally Blonde, the musical
Hart students will perform at 7 pm each night in the Hart Auditorium. On the 22nd there will also be a matinee performance at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $7 for students and senior citizens and $10 for general admission. Premium seats are available for $15. Mar. 25 and 26- Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association Festival
Rancho Pico bands and orchestra will perform at the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association Festival at West Ranch High School. Performances from many schools will be held all day long and both days are free of charge. Placerita Junior High School advanced band will also be performing at this festival on the 25th at 3 pm. Apr. 2, 3, and 4- Golden Valley High School Theatre presents The Wiz by William F. Brown

Apr. 24- Golden Valley High School Southern California Vocal Association Festival

Apr. 29- Placerita Junior High School 29th Annual Choral Festival

Apr. 30, May 1, 2 and 3- Hart High School Theatre presents their Spring Play Production of Twelve Angry Jurors by Reginald Rose.
