Throw on your favorite pair of boots Saturday and mosey over to the Agua Dulce Airport to support the children of Carousel Ranch.

You’re invited to celebrate the 15th annual Heart of the West event, presented by Princess Cruises Community Foundation on Aug. 24.

One of the grandest events in the Santa Clarita Valley, the evening includes a fine dinner by Salt Creek Grille, one of the best auctions around, dancing under the stars by SOS Entertainment, fine spirits from Vincent Hill Station and a heartwarming demonstration by the kids of Carousel Ranch.  It’s the perfect setting to have a great evening and support a great cause.

Carousel Ranch is dedicated to providing equestrian therapy and recreational activities for children with disabilities, creating a unique and individualized program to meet each child’s specific needs and goals.  Utilizing a combination of vaulting (gymnastics on a moving horse) and therapeutic riding (both English and Western), we strive to create an atmosphere where every child can and will succeed; it’s a place where therapy is disguised as fun.

Heart of the West will take place at the Agua Dulce Airport on Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are still available for purchase on line at www.carouselranch.org, or by calling 661-268-8010.  Each ticket purchased helps raise funds to supplement each students equestrian therapy. Please help our kids with disabilities continue to grow and expand their “abilities” at Carousel Ranch.
