Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is hosting a two-day event to present the new Henry Mayo Fitness and Health center to the public.
The event is scheduled for January 16 and 17, noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can take advantage of a special introductory offer and become a charter member of Henry Mayo Fitness and Health scheduled to open this spring at the former Spectrum Club site, located on 24525 Town Center Drive, Valencia.
Free food, giveaways, music and more will be offered during this special event.
Henry Mayo Fitness and Health is a new kind of fitness center that integrates physical therapy and rehabilitation programs with a full service fitness center, featuring a high-tech fitness tracking program, a credentialed fitness staff, an expansive, state-of-the-art work facility, an outdoor lap pool and more.

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital has leased the entire 53,515-square-foot facility. The fitness center side of the building will be managed by a professional staff, to include a variety of exercise amenities such as a strength training area, weight training and cardio equipment, group exercise studios, a lap pool and locker rooms.
The clinical services and medical resources side of the building will be managed by the hospital with emphasis on rehabilitation, orthopedic services, diabetic conditions and cardiology in addition to other physician specialties. Several community education programs will be conducted at the facility.
As a clinically integrated medical fitness and wellness center, Henry Mayo Fitness and Health will offer the Santa Clarita Valley a premier destination designed for individual and family preventive health care. Applications for charter memberships are now being accepted at the site.
