Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital presents CARE SCV, a Cancer Awareness & Resource Expo, at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 24, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

This free event will feature oncology experts leading breakout sessions on:
· Skin Cancer – What You Need to Know
· Immunotherapy – Boosting the Body to Fight
· Men’s Health – The Latest Developments
· Nutrition – Integrative Wellness

Attendees will also learn about resources and support services available in Santa Clarita. A Q&A panel discussion will be moderated by broadcast journalist Bella Shaw.

“We are pleased to offer the community free education on current cancer trends and treatment innovations,” said Patrick Moody, director of marketing, public and community relations at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. “Thanks to our partnership with College of the Canyons and the American Cancer Society, we are able to bring this important information to the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley.”

Admission and parking are free. Advance registration is required for the breakout sessions, as space is limited.

About Henry Mayo
Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is a 238- bed not-for-profit acute care hospital serving the Santa Clarita Valley since 1975. Henry Mayo is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a STEMI Receiving Center. The hospital features state-of-the-art inpatient facilities, a neonatal intensive care unit, catheterization lab, infusion center, breast imaging center and an outpatient surgery center.
