After about 2-1/2 years of planning and construction, the new Mercedes Benz of Valencia dealership is complete.
For the past year, Mercedes Benz in Valencia has been operating out of four temporary buildings in the parking lot of the dealership. Last week, employees moved into to the new building and the doors opened to the public.
“This is truly one of the most advanced Mercedes Benz dealers in North America,” said Jason Kosova, the general manager at Mercedes Benz of Valencia. “It’s exciting to be in this building, everything turned out fantastic.”
The new dealership in Santa Clarita is client orientated and has a “comfortable” and “enjoyable” environment.
“I think that when someone walks in to this building and they go through the whole process whether it’s purchasing a car or leasing a car or servicing their vehicle, they’re just going to experience something very different than what they’ve experienced in the past with their other automobiles,” said Kosova.
One of the services Mercedes Benz of Valencia will be offering is called “premier express.”
“With premier express, in an hour or less, your car is returned to you cleaned, fully serviced and ready to go with no loaner,” said Kosova. “It’s an hour out of your day and that’s it.”
The new facility offers complimentary high-speed internet access, a wide variety of coffee and a waiting area with large-screen entertainment available for guests servicing their car.
In the past, the process to service a car at the dealer is as follows: drive to the store, drop off the car, fill out all of the paperwork, pick up a loaner car, fill out all the paperwork for the loaner car, drive home, go to work the next day, come back to the dealership, drop off the loaner car and then pick up the car.
“There’s no reason for it,” said Kosova.
