A concert featuring local top teen talent will be held Friday, Nov. 3, at 7:00 p.m. at Hart High School, 24825 Newhall Ave.
A $5 donation is suggested. Proceeds from the concert will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Project Semicolon, a suicide prevention organization.
Acts include such renowned performers as Savannah Burrows, the 2016 winner of the Country Showdown contest; Marley Berry, local recording artist featured on SoundCloud; HartBeat, Hart High School’s a cappella group; Elisha and Marco Soronio, a sibling duo from Canyon High School; Generation DCD, a dance studio from Burbank; and much more.
“The concert is completely planned and executed by Hart High School students who are looking to make the world a better place,” said Annika Stevenson, one of the concert coordinators and Hart High School junior.
“This is a great opportunity to bring together amazingly talented people from our community and beyond who are willing to donate their time to help two great causes,” noted Gianna Campa, another concert coordinator and Hart High School senior.
Tickets are available at the door. The event will also feature a bake sale and raffle opportunity drawing.
Planning for this concert was inspired by Paula Bae’s honors anatomy class and Club Spectrum, a mental health awareness club at Hart High School.
