There’s some fancy footwork going on to put a new foundation on solid ground.

“A Starry, Starry Night” inaugural fundraising event, scheduled on Saturday, October 13, will benefit WiSH, the educational foundation established by the William S. Hart School District and ultimately, all the students of the district.

The performance, set for 7:30 at the auditorium of Hart High School, will feature performers from popular dance television shows” and a showcase by the Hart High Dance Team. Emceeing the event will be Kyle Massey, from the show “That’s So Raven.”

Performers include Louis Van Amstel, Chelsie Hightower, Anna Trebunskaya, Jonathan Roberts, Karina Smirnoff and Dmitry Chaplin from “Dancing With The Stars;” Mary Murphy, Stephen tWitch Boss, Allison Holker and Alex Wong from “So You Think You Can Dance” and La Toya London from “American Idol.”

VIP tickets for the show are $100 and include special seating and after-party at the SCV Boys and Girls Club next door with cocktails, desserts, raffle, silent auction and a chance to meet some of the celebrities. The after-party is restricted to those age 21 and over, with no exceptions. General admission for the show is $40.

A “kids room” will be set up for VIP ticket holders between the ages of 5 and 18; children must be signed in and out by parents and there will be refreshments and dessert served in the kids room. Celebrities have also promised to pop in during the evening.
