This hands-on workshop will help you get started quickly as you learn the steps necessary to successfully launch your new business. Learn to prepare a written plan you can use to build and grow a profitable business. Learn the best way to structure your business as you identify and focus on the key marketing, sales and financial issues of your business and how to bring it all together. This powerful event has helped many entrepreneurs just like you achieve success.

Date: Tuesday, September 13

Time: 9:00am – 11:00am

Cost: $30 + $2 parking fee (kiosk located in lot 14, machine takes $1 bills and quarters only)

This orientation will give insight into starting and running a successful small business. You will learn all about what the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has to offer and how we can assist you in establishing or maintaining your small business through one-on-one consultation and training seminars. We offer the New Clent Orignation free of charge to all new clients.

Nest Steps for Small Business – Powered by California SBDC

Get ready to grow your business! The 2011 Next Steps for Small Business tour is a FREE event in collaboration with the California SBDC, Business Matchmaking, and GoED (California Governor’s Office of Economic Development). Whether it is expanding your sales through social media, learning about how to sell to the government, or finding out the many benefits to selling internationally, attendees will leave with new ideas for growth! Breakout sessions will include Access to Capital, Procurement, Social Media & Email Marketing, and International Trade. Each of these sessions will feature expert speakers from business including: Yelp, LazBro Inc., Vertical Response, Metropolitan Water District of Southern CA, CA Department of General Services, US General Services and more!
