The 3rd annual Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place Sunday, Sept. 20, at Bridgeport Park in Valencia. More than 800 residents from throughout the Santa Clarita Valley will participate in this upbeat and inspiring event to raise awareness and funds to fight the disease.
In addition to the 4K route, Walk to End Alzheimer’s will include entertainment, food, awards and a family festival with KidZone. Walkers who raise $100 receive a commemorative T-shirt, and there are prizes for top fund-raising teams and individuals. Onsite registration opens at 7:30 a.m., opening ceremonies begin at 8:30 and the walk begins at 9 a.m.
