The Legislature Enters Budget Season
“With the State Budget deadline approaching in June, the legislature has begun to work diligently on the 2019-2020 Budget,” Smith said.
“I am a firm believer that our State Budget is a statement of our values,” she said. “That is why over the course of budget negotiations, we will be advocating for smart investments in education, public safety, infrastructure, and local projects for our communities, while also bolstering California’s small businesses by cutting the franchise tax and burdensome regulations.”
