The Master’s University women’s basketball team earned its first Golden State Athletic Conference victory of the 2016-17 campaign after beating Hope International 76-47 Saturday night on Bross Court.
Saturday’s win improved No. 17 TMU’s overall record to 10-4 and 1-3 in GSAC play.
“It definitely took longer than anticipated to get the first conference “W”, but I think that our squad is learning tons right now which will pay huge dividends,” commented TMU head coach Dan Waldeck. “I thought our whole team was engaged and focused, which helped us play with a great mentality. I’m excited to see how the improvements we’re making in practice continue to reveal themselves in the way we play and compete.”
