In gymnastics, Morgan Tolman and Jasmine Holmes led a team of six gymnasts from the Waller’s GymJam Academy at the Level 10 Junior Olympic National Championships in Hampton, Va.
Tolman won the floor routine and was second in the all-around. Holmes was third in the vault and third in the all-around portion of the competition.
Jessy MacArthur was fifth in the vault. Alex Waller was fourth in the beam. Alya Turcotte was eighth in the floor and Alicia Gallarzo was 20th in the all-around.
In the NBA playoffs, the Clippers were blown out again by the San Antonio Spurs, 105-88, in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.
The Clippers are down 2-0, but are coming home for Game 3 on Sunday.
In the NHL playoffs, the Kings are one win away from advancing to the Stanley Cup Final. The Kings beat the Phoenix Coyotes, 2-1, and have a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference final.
Anze Kopitar and Dwight King scored for the Kings. They can complete the sweep on Sunday at Staples Center.
