Plaques were awarded for the top two levels of contributions. Donors with combined contributions above $20,000 were admitted to the Gold Circle. The Yellow Rose Society was reserved for donors over $10,000, the Mahogany Circle honored donors from $5,000 to $9,999 and the Silver Circle honored donors at the $2,500 to $4,999 level. Media Sponsors also were saluted.
Pat and Madeleine Modugno received a plaque for their Gold Circle level of support. Those receiving Yellow Rose Society plaques included Michael and Melina Berger, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Keyes Motors, Don and Jo Ann Rodriguez and Union Bank. Yellow Rose Media Sponsors included Carl Goldman and Jeri Serrati-Goldman, KHTS Radio; and Moe and Linda Hafizi, The Magazine of Santa Clarita.
In addition, 12 Mahogany Circle honorees were introduced, and 26 Silver Circle honorees were recognized.
Honorees were treated to a wide array of appetizers and an open bar. The yellow rose is a symbol of friendship for Zonta International and a traditional way to honor those who support Zonta’s mission of improving the lives of women and girls locally and around the world.
