Thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the Santa Clarita Valley Winter Weather Shelter, without it the Homeless people would not have a place to go during the Winter, the staff and the Volunteers are doing such an outstanding job; saying thank you to them goes beyond words: However; even though during the winter months people want to help with donations to the Shelter to help the homeless people is awesome, but; lets continue to help the homeless people even after the Shelter closes in March; although, here is the problem: you have a vast majority of people in Santa Clarita that would rather make rude remarks and be very disrespectful towards the homeless people and then go into the comment section of the Signal and make these remarks, the vast majority of the people in this town don’t realize and understand that words hurt just as well as hurting some one physically, in addition to wanting to call the cops on the homeless people saying they committing some kind of a crime; the ones who make these kind of remarks and comments they doing the same things themselves and NO one can tell me any differently I have seen many of you people coming out of food for less with your beer and going home and getting drunk and acting dumb and stupid; yet you people want to say that they homeless people are the only ones who do this and also you people want to say that the reason the person who is homeless is because that they are alcoholics and drug addicts and have a mental problem, which is totally false the reason a majority the person who ended being homeless is due to job layoffs or the company they had been working for had gone out of business etc. People of Santa Clarita know the facts before you start running your mouth about how and why the person became homeless. Also remember you yourself could at some point lose your job and it wouldn’t be because alcohol or illegal drugs or mental problems; it would be because job layoffs or the company you had or have been working for just simply went out of business. So when the Shelter closes in March lets not stop helping the Homeless people, continue to helping the Homeless person/persons: also don’t judge the Homeless person, because the word of god tells us that we are not to judge each other and the word of god tells us that we are not better than the person, in closing folks we are all human beings and we need to respect each other help each other and to love each other, this is what the Word of God teaches us to do; the Word of God does not tell us to disrespect each other and to judge each other etc. Jesus tells us in all four Gospel to Love one another even as Jesus has/had loved us. May the grace and truth of our Lord Jesus be with you all and pray without ceasing as Jesus has told us to.
