Organizational Impact: As an emcee, Ed has been the face of nearly every non-profit within the Santa Clarita Valley. In 2000, Ed was a big part of helping to put Carousel Ranch on the map. Because of his efforts, Carousel Ranch was awarded Charity of the Year in 2000. Ed’s involvement through the years grew, not only as an advocate for the work that they do, but as a volunteer, advisor, and friend. Ed has assisted them as a liaison with Assemblyman Cameron’s Smyth’s office and as a board liaison for his current employer, Derek Sage, while he served on the board. Since beginning at SOS, Ed has worked every year to handle Carousel’s lighting and sound for the annual Heart of the West event. Ed was a founding board member of WiSH and continues to be a significant, contributing member. Ed’s broad knowledge of our community lends itself to an understanding of what one needs to do to best support the students of the Santa Clarita Valley. He offers significant nonprofit, in-kind donations. On game day and every day, Ed is the first one there, setting up, and the last one to leave, breaking down. He more than makes up his weight in sweat equity at every single event he supports.

Biography: Ed Masterson has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for 31 years with his wife, Valerie, his 22-yearold son, Gage, and his 18-year-old daughter, Lizzy. Ed moved to our valley while he was working for Universal Studios – starting as a tour guide. He moved on to production coordinator for network television shows. Living and working in the SCV, Ed was key account manager for Golden West K-9 Security to increase its brand awareness and public relations. While at that position, the company earned “Medium Business of the Year” through the SCV Chamber of Commerce. Ed became the director of Public Relations and the Community Relations & Corporate Partner liaison for the Loose Goose Wine Festival in Valencia. He moved into public service by becoming Assemblyman Cameron Smyth’s field representative and was liaison for the “Holocaust Memorial Project,” connecting survivors with local high school students for interview sessions submitted to the state archives. After leaving his field rep position, he became Interim CEO of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and has lobbied on behalf of the SCV in Washington, DC.

Organizational Impact: In 2017, Michael and Teri Fox founded the Sebastian Velona Foundation to find a cure for Batten Disease CLN8. Immediately after establishing the foundation, Pam became actively involved as a board member and Event Planning Committee member. She has been instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, organizing, staffing, marketing and actively participating in various fundraising events, including the inaugural TPC Wine Gala and the subsequent Healing Hugs Festival. She brings many years of charitable fundraising experience to the foundation, and she is instrumental in advising the foundation in a variety of matters including, but not limited to, planning, organizing, fundraising, marketing, etc. Pam also attends all scientific advisory board meetings with the various consulting scientists and medical professionals who are working to develop a cure for Batten Disease CLN8. The foundation highly values Pam’s many contributions and her steadfast determination to helping the foundation find a cure.

Biography: Pam and her husband Steve were married in 1972 and first moved to Santa Clarita Valley in 1974. They have one son, Christopher, born in 1976, and married to Elise. They have four grandkids. Pam started volunteering in the early 1980’s when Chris attended Chaminade College Preparatory where she was on the fundraising committee for five years, as well as PTA president. Pam Ingram is one of the top Realtors working at RE/MAX of Santa Clarita and is a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Pam embarked on a career in real estate in 1994 and, in 1995, she returned to the Santa Clarita Valley. Pam can be seen at most charitable events in the community and tries to participate whenever possible in local charities and civic associations and organizations such as Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Light the Night, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley, Carousel Ranch, Helmers Elementary School Parents Association, Old Orchard PTSA, the Special Olympics, and the Senior Center. Her positive attitude and energy has fueled her passion to lead, create teamwork and inspire others to create change and deliver results. Her commitment to this community and those in need has inspired her to continue her quest with a helping hand where needed. This was the inspiration that resulted in Pam being awarded the Carmen Sarro Award by Zonta International of Santa Clarita Valley in 2015. Pam was also awarded the Philanthropic Award by REMAX of Santa Clarita.
