The win was Lancaster’s seventh in walk-off fashion this season. It was the team’s 29th comeback victory, and the eighth time this year they have overcome a deficit after eight innings.
Lancaster (22-18, 56-52) trailed by three runs heading into the bottom of the eighth inning. The Quakes scored twice in the seventh and once more in the eighth to take the lead, 6-3. Hayden Roberts (3-1) pitched a scoreless ninth for the JetHawks.
For the second night in a row, the game was tied, 3-3, heading into the seventh inning. The JetHawks scored three runs in the third inning, thanks in part to Casey Golden’s 17th home run of the season.
