As the Los Angeles County community rallies behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in this year’s World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reminds all fans to celebrate responsibly.
LASD encourages everyone to enjoy the games safely, whether watching from home, at a local restaurant, or attending public gatherings.
Don’t drink and drive. Plan ahead by designating a sober driver, using public transportation, or scheduling a ride share.
Be respectful of others. Keep celebrations friendly and avoid confrontations or unsafe crowd behavior.
Follow all laws and safety regulations. Deputies will be actively patrolling to ensure a safe environment for all fans. Additional law enforcement resources will be deployed to address unlawful activities.
Report suspicious or unsafe activity. If you see something, say something. Call 9-1-1 for emergencies or contact your local Sheriff’s station for non-emergencies.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Police Department, the California Highway Patrol and police chiefs from surrounding jurisdictions, are working closely to ensure public safety and prepare for any potential unruly celebrations.
Together, law enforcement is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all residents and fans to cheer on the Dodgers during the World Series.
