Santa Clarita Artists Association (SCAA) member Olga Kaczmar will be demonstrating pastel art on Saturday, May 13 from 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Join us for an artist’s reception with light appetizers and wine at FASTFRAME, located at 24204 Valencia Blvd., Valencia, CA 91355. The exhibit will run from May 8 to 31.

Voted Best Custom Framing in the SCV, owners Randy and Rose-Marie Burzynski are framing experts and well versed in designing and producing the right look to enhance your wall art. Each month FASTFRAME features a different artist, giving local artists a venue for displaying their masterpieces.

As a commercial artist, Olga Kaczmar produced layouts and renderings for patent applications, exhibits and brochures. Currently, Olga is devoting time to a more delightful side of art such as drawing horses, dogs, cats and portraits of family and friends. She uses timeless tools such as graphite, charcoal, oils, pastels, colored pencils, and watercolor. To view her work visit www.olgakaczmar.com.

Her computer-generated famine-genocide posters have been shown throughout the U.S.A., Canada, Ukraine, France, Australia, and the United Kingdom. In 2007 to 2008, her art was used to promote a film and book on the Ukrainian genocide of 1932.
