Golden Valley High School is highlighting career exploration and career pathways throughout February, Career Tech Education Month, with a variety of engaging student activities on campus.
They include fun, interactive social media contests, classroom open houses, the “Dream it, Be It” program partnered with the Santa Clarita Chapter of the Soroptimist International Organization, and a Career Day with La Mesa Junior High School.
Golden Valley will kick off National CTE Month with a flurry of Snapchat fun. Through this fun, social media activity, students can decipher career clues and win prizes.
This week is also a lucky one for Grizzlies. Each CTE teacher is hosting an open house for the day. Students will have an opportunity to explore the pathway of their choice and talk to experts in different industries while enjoying treats provided by the GVHS Career & College Readiness office.
