You will learn all about what the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has to offer and how we can assist you in establishing or maintaining your small business through one-on-one consultation and training seminars. We offer the New Client Orientation free of charge to all new clients.
This class includes an in-class negotiation and drafting activity. A laptop or tablet is strongly recommended. This class will provide information on contracts every small business should know, including: the basic elements of contracts; how contracts are created (and breached); drafting considerations; “boilerplate” clauses and what they mean, typical contracts most small businesses will encounter in day-to-day operations, such as NDAs, Term Sheets, licenses and independent contractor agreements; and dispute resolution clauses.
