The Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Canyon Country will host a “Community Day” fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley on Wednesday, April 18.

Ten percent of total restaurant sales and 100 percent of guest donations that day will be donated to the club to support its programs for young people.

“Community Day” is an annual celebration that raises funds for local kids and teens as part of the Buffalo Wild Wings “Team Up for Kids” mission.

As part of Buffalo Wild Wings’ (B-Dubs) national commitment to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Community Day is a celebration at participating restaurants across the country. B-Dubs has committed a $2 million minimum guaranteed donation to BGCA through 2020. With the success of its fundraising efforts to date, B-Dubs will donate more than $20 million by 2020.

Now in its sixth year, Buffalo Wild Wings’ “Team Up for Kids” mission and partnership with BGCA supports youth sports through ALL STARS grants for flag or tackle football, basketball, soccer, cheer, step and dance teams at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.

Locally, B-Dubs has a major impact on SCV kids and teens. B-Dubs provides our sports teams with jerseys and hosts our sports award banquets.

The best part of the jerseys is they provide new ones every season so the kids get to proudly wear their jerseys year-round.

In motivating, guiding and caring for our club youth, it takes more than just our dedicated staff and invested parents and guardians – but engagement with our entire community.
