Nearly four million boxes of Girl Scout cookies will arrive in Greater Los Angeles on Saturday, Jan. 26, as local Girl Scouts fine-tune their entrepreneurial skills to kick off cookie sales on Sunday, Jan. 27.
The cookie drop marks the start of a season that supports leadership-building programs for girls across the Southland.
The Santa Clarita cookie drop will take place Saturday, Jan. 26 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Babies-R-Us parking lot, 26573 Carl Boyer Drive, Santa Clarita 91350 (across from Walmart).
After thousands of Girl Scout volunteers pick up cases of cookies at “mega-drop” cookie deliveries (picture caravans of troop leaders and towering pallets of cookies), local Girl Scouts will grab their wagons AKA “cookie mobiles” to head door-to-door selling to friends and family on Jan. 27.
Booth sales in front of local storefronts will begin Feb. 8 and continue through March 10.

Along with the long-time favorites — Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-si-Dos, Savannah Smiles, and Girl Scout S’mores — LA-area Girl Scouts will celebrate the five-year anniversary of the rich, buttery Toffee-tastic cookies that are filled with sweet, crunchy toffee bits.
Girl Scout Cookies are $5 a pack with the exception of the two specialty cookies—gluten-free Toffee-tastic and non-GMO Girl Scout S’mores, which are $6 a pack.
