The Elks and Rotary clubs will be holding a fundraising event on May 2.

The event, Night at the Races for Veterans, will feature video horse racing, cocktails, dinner, and auction and raffle items, according to the organization.

The event will start at 6 p.m. and tickets are $25 a person.

Auction and raffle items include a big screen television donated by Summer Systems, a $100 gift certificate for Le Chene French Restaurant, $150 gift certificate for a wine tasting tour for 10 at Agua Dulce Winery, according to event officials.

Another item includes a complete orthodontic package for 1 person, which is a two year treatment from Dr. Anthony Cha, worth $4800, a Palm Desert resort weekend at Avondale Resort worth $650 from Pat Modugno Estates, a Valencia Lanes bowling package with two lanes, with four people in each lane, and numerous gift baskets.

The event is sponsored by KHTS AM-1220 and proceeds will benefit the Harry Bell Memorial Fund for Veterans.
