You’ll want to sing and dance the afternoon away on Sunday, Sept. 18, when LARC Ranch brings “Reggae Sunsplash” to Bouquet Canyon for the organization’s annual fundraiser benefiting LARC’s programs, facilities and services for developmentally disabled adults.
The Reggae Sunsplash Festival 2011 starts with a luncheon and dessert extravaganza at 1 p.m., followed by live reggae/ska music from the Los Angeles-based band, See Spot.
“This is going to be a festive day,” said LARC Ranch Executive Director Kathy Sturkey. “There’s nothing that puts a bounce in your step quite like good reggae music, and we fully expect our guests to feel as if they are on a relaxing Caribbean cruise right here on the Ranch.”
Reggae Sunsplash will be held at LARC Ranch in picturesque Bouquet Canyon, at 29890 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus. Tickets for adults cost $125 each, and children’s tickets cost $50. A family package of $325 includes tickets for two adults and two children.
All proceeds benefit the programs, services and facilities of LARC Ranch, which provides residential and day program services to developmentally disabled adults.
“Our annual fundraiser gives everyone a chance to come out, have a good time and see what LARC Ranch is all about,” Sturkey said. “It’s also a chance for us to thank the sponsors who make it possible for LARC to provide an enriching home environment for our residents throughout the year. Without their support, it simply wouldn’t be possible.”
Reservations and additional information about the LARC Reggae Sunsplash are available by calling (661) 296-8636, ext. 219, or by visiting www.larcfoundation.org.
