The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra (SCVYO) will be performing live at Logix Federal Credit Union’s new Bridgeport Marketplace branch Grand Opening event on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The public is invited to attend, where Logix representatives will present SCVYO with a $1,000 donation, and selected SCVYO ensembles will perform live.They include the P​relude Strings Ensemble​ conducted by SCVYO’s Assistant Artistic Director Julissa Bozman. The P​relude Winds and Brass Ensemble​ will be conducted by their Director Susan Carpenter, and select Chamber Music​ students representing the more advanced levels, is under the direction of Managing Director Rachel Iba.

The new Logix Federal Credit Union Branch at Bridgeport Marketplace is located at 24003 Newhall Ranch Road in Santa Clarita.

Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra, a nonprofit organization, seeks to provide an instrumental education program for students eight years and older. The SCVYO has served the Santa Clarita Valley community and surrounding areas for over 50 years, and offers seven instrumental ensembles to the community, including Novae Sinfonia, Orchestra, Prelude Strings, Chamber Ensemble, Guitar Orchestra, Prelude Winds and Brass, and SCV Brass Ensemble.
