The Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley is proud to announce their 6th annual Lunafest® screening, to be held Thursday, April 28, at Canyon Theatre Guild in Downtown Newhall.

Lunafest® is an annual short film festival of films by, for and about women that connects women, their stories and their causes through film.

This annual traveling film festival spotlights the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent, funny and thought-provoking themes.

This event is a joint effort to raise awareness and contributions for both Zonta and the Breast Cancer Fund.

The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita’s mission is to advance the status of women through scholarships, local advocacy and educational programs for girls and women.

The Breast Cancer fund seeks to educate women about the environmental causes of cancer and to inspire them to take simple steps to reduce their risk.

The $45 ticket price includes a red carpet reception on the patio at 6 p.m., prior to the screening.

Hors d’oeuvres catered by Hidden Havana, a glass of wine and popcorn are included with admission.

Zonta is seeking both cash and in-kind event sponsorships.

This inspirational event will attract nearly 300 guests and many unique opportunities to market and gain unique exposure.
